R64e/R64-CL-IP2 With Real Time Bayer Processor
Most color cameras today are based on Bayer Filter Technology i.e. 4 adjacent pixels are combined into color information. Data is first collected as monochrome values and later converted in color information for display or post processing.
The interpolation algorithms can become very complex depending on desired image quality.
With the Camera Link Frame Grabber option -IP2 from BitFlow the decoding is performed in real time at the actual camera throughput. BitFlow adds continuously the increasing number of cameras available (Base, Medium and Full configuration) from different manufacturers.
In terms of software the real time Bayer decoding is supported by the BayView application. BayView is a component of BitFlow's software development kit (SDK) and offers full control of all processing parameters as well as a live preview window.
